Vanderpump Rules Season 11 left so much on the cutting room floor. The consensus was that production should have waited at least six more months to pick the cameras back up after Scandoval. But the allure of filming in the aftermath was too much. Season 10 was almost the series finale. But the show was renewed thanks to Tom Sandoval and Rachel Leviss’ months-long affair.

With another chance to win viewers back, Bravo and the cast tried to pull out all the stops.  Emotions ran high as Ariana Madix refused to speak one-on-one with her ex. As some of the cast panicked, others tried to put on a show. Now, there is a divide over whether or not the series should continue.

Has Bravo said goodbye, or is it just the off-season?

What in the Pumptini is going on in the Bravosphere today!? Like most other Vanderpump Rules fans, I woke up to find that each cast member had removed the series from their Instagram profiles. Everyone is losing their minds when it comes to the possibility of a cancelation, but could this be the sign from above that fans were asking for?

Tom Schwartz, Tom Sandoval, James Kennedy, Ariana, Scheana Shay, Katie Maloney, Lisa Vanderpump, Brock Davies, Lala Kent, and Ally Lewber all essentially blacked out the show. But, it may just be that the series is currently on pause, and doesn’t need promoting on social media.

Could this be a PR stunt?

With the Vanderpump Rules Season 11 reunion still to air, it could be that the cast is trying to conjure up some chit-chat. If I’m being honest, doing this to drum up attention would be a smart move. A sneak peek of the reunion showed Lisa telling someone, “Sometimes it is okay to move on.” Nothing would make more sense than to have each cast member delete their Pump Rules references. But might that be too obvious?

Even if the series were going to end, or go through a reboot of sorts, that sort of info probably wouldn’t be available until the reunion had concluded. We’ll have to wait and see what happens, but that won’t stop viewers from speculating.

Some of the cast will undoubtedly bounce back

If the removal of VPR from their bios is genuine, I’m not worried for most of the gang. We already know Ariana will land on her feet thanks to her multiple endorsement deals. She has also been nominated for the Critic’s Choice Award for Best Female Star of the Year. Not to mention, she is the new host of Love Island USA. So Ariana will be just fine.

Some of the others, like the Toms and Katie, also have a few fallback plans. Sandy and Schwartz have both their bars, which are currently thriving. Katie has her soon-to-open sandwich shop with Ariana. James is flourishing in his DJ world, too.

Personally, I think Lala and Scheana are trying to make the jump to The Valley, which Jax doesn’t want to happen. And LVP will always land on her feet. She’s booked and blessed.

Plot twist

If the speculation is true and the OGs are hitting the road, this could make room for a reboot. When Vanderpump Rules first started, the series centered around a group of young friends working as SURvers. Half the hype was watching their interpersonal relationships unfold around the bar or in the alley. So why not bring that same feeling back? The earlier seasons were Good as Gold.

So, if the cast has decided to move on to bigger and better things, let’s allow it to happen. The montage at the end of the season finale was perfect as it tied their relationships up in a little pink bow.

Vanderpump Rules is available to stream on Peacock.
