Cryptocurrency investment fund and Web3 OKX Ventures recently invested in a gaming toy

Cryptocurrency investment fund and Web3 OKX Ventures recently invested in Void Labs action role-playing game “Blade of God .

According to a press release from OKX Ventures, the gamify-to-train concept “not only integrates advanced AI agents with blockchain technology, but also allows players to train AI agents through gameplay.”

It is not clear at this time exactly what models are being trained and how gameplay contributes to this training. Cointelegraph reached out to OKX Ventures and Void Labs for further details but had not received a response at the time of publishing this article.

Blade of God

It’s currently listed on the Epic Game Store as an early access title that features blockchain functionality. According to the game’s menu, handling non-fungible tokens, cryptocurrencies, and other Web3 features is completely optional. Blade of God

The game is compatible with the Immutable

Those who choose to connect to the game’s Web3 features will be able to trade and “create their own game experiences” via MetaMask, GameStop, Venly, Coinbase Wallet, or using Magic Link or Immutable Passport.

According to the press release, the games in the series have so far been downloaded more than six million times, and Blades of X itself has now raised $6 million.

Void Labs founder Tnise said the company is grateful for the “invaluable support” from OKX Venture after committing to invest:

“This partnership will provide us with the resources and guidance needed to continue to innovate, expand our horizons, and deliver exceptional gaming experiences to players around the world.”

Other investors in the game include Delphi Ventures, BreederDAO, Eden Holdings, and several other companies.
