Salem better get ready. Hurricane Sami Brady will be returning to Days of Our Lives in early 2025.
Sami is one of those characters that people either love or hate. Whichever camp you fall into, there’s no doubt that she brings the drama.
Her life story has yet to be revealed, but does it really matter? Whatever exaggerated behavior or reckless scheme Sami has gotten herself into now, it’s going to be a lot of fun!
Sami left town because of Lucas’ bullshit.
This is an opportunity to correct the character assassination story.
Sami left town heartbroken after learning that her true love, Lucas, had orchestrated her kidnapping to ensure she would be close to him when he rescued her.

This story was a huge slap in the face to Sami and Lucas fans. We finally got the couple we dreamed of, but it was ruined within days after it was revealed that Lucas was behind Sami’s kidnapping.
It was hypocritical on Sami’s part too, because she did equally bad things, like give Austin drugs to keep him away from her sister.
Lucas bided his time and left Salem to visit Will (who had magically transported from New Zealand to Phoenix, but that’s another story for another day).
How great would it be if Sami planned to visit at the same time?
Of course, no one is saying that Sami has to kiss Lucas right away. It would be the worst kind of boring TV repetition if Sami and Lucas reconciled off-screen.
But once Hurricane Sami returns, all bets are off. Sami is sure to make Lucas cave, at the very least.
He’ll have to earn every ounce of her forgiveness, but if the story goes that way, once he does, it’ll be one of the sweetest reunions in Days of Our Lives history.
How will Hurricane Sami deal with AJ?
These two have had a love-hate relationship forever.
No one can predict whether EJ’s bad luck will get worse or better when Hurricane Sami returns.

Sami left him in a bad state, then ruined his life by pretending that Nicole and Eric’s baby was his. Sami hates Nicole, but she loves Eric, so this will make her unusually hesitant about whose side to take here.
EJ deserves some really bad karma, and I’d love it if Sami would hand it out!
Nicole left EJ for the same reason Sami left her: he became seriously abusive when he didn’t get what he wanted.
No one knows that better than Sami, especially since their relationship began with her being forced to have sex with him to save Lucas’ life.
She supposedly forgave him a long time ago for much of his nonsense, but by the time Hurricane Sami returns, she may have changed her mind.
This is a complicated situation, and I can’t wait to see if Sami has plans for EJ or not.
Only in Salem can EJ go back and forth between lovers and enemies with women like Sami and Nicole, but that’s what makes it so fun.
Alison Sweeney says Sami’s new story is unexpected.
The new writing team may take Sami’s story in a whole new direction.
It’s hard to imagine what Sami will do that will be completely different from anything she’s done before, but it will be fun to find out!

According to Soap Opera Digest, actress Alison Sweeney was very excited about the storyline she was offered. A new team of writers recently took over, so I can’t wait to see what they have in store for Sami.
Its scenes won’t air until early 2025, giving us plenty of time to speculate about what Hurricane Sami will do by then.
